Expanding Trading Hours for Cryptocurrency ETFs
Saturday. August 31 at 5:30 AM
1 min. read24X National Exchange has submitted an amended application to US regulators to establish a securities exchange that could potentially enable 24/7 trading for cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The proposal aims to extend trading hours for US-listed securities by operating a national securities exchange 23 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. If approved, securities like those in the Nasdaq-100 Index and S&P 500 Index could be traded on the Exchange during the 24X Market Session. Notably, Blackrock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) is one of the most actively traded ETFs, ranking 16th among ETFs by daily volume. While 24X's proposal is still pending approval from the SEC, it has received support for enhancing investor participation and providing real-time trading opportunities for a wider range of investors.
