Integration of Immutable and Fireblocks for Secure Asset Management in Web3 Gaming

Immutable, a Web3 gaming blockchain, has partnered with Fireblocks, an infrastructure provider, to aid game developers in securely storing and managing their assets. This integration enables game developers to handle assets related to game economies, NFTs, and DeFi protocols. Immutable will also improve projects' oversight of their holdings within its Polygon-powered zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) chain. Fireblocks' infrastructure will assist game developers in managing assets in NFT and game transactions, ensuring smooth operations in DeFi. Additionally, the integration enhances security, with Fireblocks' solutions safeguarding digital assets in the Immutable network. Fireblocks, known for its security services in the blockchain space, aims to streamline asset movement, storage, and issuance. The recent partnership aligns with Immutable's decision to close its NFT marketplace to focus on ecosystem expansion through collaborations, ensuring user assets remain connected to their wallets across different platforms.

Rocky Rabbit, a tap-to-earn game on Telegram, is gearing up for the launch of its RabBitcoin (RBTC) token on The Open Network. The latest addition to the game is the Battle mode, a key milestone on the roadmap to the airdrop. Despite its colosseum-like theme, the Battle mode is actually a game of chance where players enter a betting pool and watch a roulette wheel determine the winner. The game offers three venues with varying bet ranges, but the gameplay is primarily centered around menu taps rather than combat. Players can earn in-game coins through the Battle mode before the RBTC token launch. Additionally, the app teases upcoming mini-games RocQ and Magic Rabbit. To access the Battle mode, players need a Game Pass obtained through a special code. The RBTC token is scheduled to launch on TON on September 23, coinciding with a series of major Telegram game token drops.

Top cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has disabled the Lightning Network feature for its customers in Germany, citing technical reasons. Initially, reports suggested regulatory issues were the cause, but Kraken clarified that it was due to technical changes. The Lightning Network, a second-layer application for Bitcoin, facilitates faster transactions for smaller purchases by routing them through side channels. This feature is aimed at reducing transaction fees during network congestion. While Kraken has disabled this feature, other major exchanges like Coinbase offer Lightning integration to provide cost-effective Bitcoin transactions. By utilizing the Lightning Network, customers can opt for a more efficient payment method during peak network activity, ultimately reducing transaction costs.
