Malaysia has also proposed regulations for Big Tech companies, including licensing requirements for social media platforms. Despite pushback from industry leaders, major tech firms like Google and Microsoft are investing in Malaysia's tech sector, with plans to create jobs and boost the local economy through AI and cloud services.
